This volume contains contributions most of which were initially presented and discussed at the Administrative Law Discussion Forum which was held in May 2008, at the University of Montpellier, France. The participants were all academics, about half from various European countries and half from the United States and Canada. Two topics were set for the Forum and involved broad issues : first, the future of international, supranational, and comparative administrative law; second, constitutional and regulatory law developments either in Europe or the United States that academic lawyers from other countries ought to know about.
